Drama

Drama adalah karya sastra berupa cerita atau dialog yang dipentaskan di depan banyak orang. Drama memiliki unsur instrinsik. Unsur intrinsik merupakan unsur utama yang harus ada dalam drama. Unsur-unsur intrinsik drama adalah sebagai berikut.

  • Tema: gagasan utama dalam sebuah drama.
  • Latar: keadaan atau situasi drama. Latar dalam drama meliputi tempat, waktu, dan suasana.
  • Alur/plot: rangkaian peristiwa dalam cerita drama.
  • Penokohan: drama memiliki tokoh atau pelaku cerita. Tokoh dalam drama ada tiga jenis, yaitu protagonis (tokoh utama), antagonis (tokoh yang bertentangan dengan tokoh utama), dan tritagonis

(tokoh pembantu). Setiap tokoh memiliki watak atau karakter yang berbeda-beda. Hal ini disebut dengan penokohan. Sifat tokoh disampaikan kepada penonton melalui peristiwa yang terjadi dalam cerita.
