Penerbit Erlangga sebagai penerbit yang memiliki kepedulian tinggi atas perkembangan pendidikan nasional meyelenggarakan Seminar Nasional Pendidikan Kedokteran yang dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu, tanggal 5 Desember 2007 bertempat di Hotel Shangri-La Jakarta. Kegiatan ini terselenggara berkat kerjasama yang baik antara Penerbit Erlangga dengan pihak Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia.
















Mengemban misi untuk mengembangkan dan mensosialisasikan metode pengajaran berbasis kompetensi yang dikenal dengan Metode Problem Base Learning kepada seluruh jajaran instansi dan tokoh pengajaran tenaga kesehatan. Terkait dengan konteks yang dikaji mengenai bidang pendidikan tenaga kesehatan, para pembicara dan moderator terdiri dari tokoh sentral yang berperan besar terhadap pengembangan pendidikan yaitu :

Erlangga bekerjasama dengan FKUI menghadirkan keempat pembicara dengan sudut pandang yang masing-masing berbeda sehingga tersedia opsi-opsi metode penerapan pembelajaran ini  bagi para peserta yang hadir dalam seminar.

Dalam seminar ini para peserta yang hadir tidak hanya berlatar belakang dari pendidikan kedokteran, tetapi lebih luas lagi pada seluruh bidang pengajaran tenaga kesehatan dari berbagai instansi pendidikan di seluruh Indonesia. Di masa yang akan datang, Penerbit Erlangga akan terus melibatkan diri dalam wacana pengembangan pendidikan yang mendorong kemajuan bangsa melalui berbagai aspek.
