Bakti sosial bertema 'berbagi kasih bersama panti asuhan anak Chairunnisa' dilakukan penerbit Erlangga dalam menyambut hari jadi ke-68 di Jakarta, Jumat (24/4).

Adapun bentuk santunan yang diberikan kepada panti dengan 62 anak binaan ini antara lain berupa uang beasiswa prestasi, sembako, vitamin, masker, hand sanitizer, susu, produk kebersihan, buku bacaan, dan puluhan sepatu sekolah. Manajer Marketing Nasional Penerbit Erlangga, David G. Sihotang mengatakan, perayaan tersebut berbeda dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya lantaran tahun ini dihadapkan dengan pandemik Covid-19.

Ia menambahkan, tujuan dari kegiatan santunan adalah sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap sesama di tengah situasi pandemik Covid-19. Haarapannya, Erlangga ke depan terus berkarya, berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan pendidikan Indonesia dengan spirit pembaharuan, dan penerbitan produk-produk edukatif. "Semoga dengan berbagi kebahagiaan bersama anak-anak yang membutuhkan, anak-anak menjadi senang dan mendoakan kita semua agar sehat dan sukses," demikian David.
